Interpine’s TreeTools SilvaFlight Designer is a pre‑planning drone flight area tool that enables users to create clean, flight‑ready WGS84 KML files for use in drone flight controller software such as DJI Pilot 2.
Users can upload stand or patch shapefiles or WGS84 KMLs, select and combine areas to be surveyed, apply buffers, remove holes, and simplify polygons. The tool then exports a clean 2D WGS84‑compliant KML suitable for aerial imagery collection, LiDAR mapping missions, or Virtual Plot surveys.
This workflow is ideal for forestry operations where stand layers are available, and a precise drone operational area needs to be defined before flight.
